Troon is seeking an Accountant I in Birmingham, AL to join a growing team. You will support full-cycle accounting, assist with financial reporting, and gain exposure to industry best practices while learning from senior accountants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• Internship or coursework in accounting or finance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily accounting activities, including posting transactions and maintaining accurate records.
• Support the preparation of monthly financial statements and schedules under the guidance of senior accountants.
• Perform basic reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and assist in researching variances.
• Help monitor cash activity and coordinate weekly disbursements with assigned clubs as applicable.
• Collaborate with General Managers, Operations leaders and Corporate teams to provide financial support.
• Participate in training sessions and contribute to process improvement projects.
• Develop ability to present financial information clearly for internal discussions and client-facing presentations.
