Elite Staffing Inc. is seeking an Accountant for Finance Shared Services to support local finance operations and partner with the Global Shared Services team. The role includes journal entries, reconciliations, fixed assets, and AP/AR issue resolution, with involvement in tax compliance and audits.

The position emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely issue resolution, while assisting the Finance Director with financial reporting and special projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA, CMA or equivalent designation preferred.
• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries for monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
• Maintain local general ledger accuracy and review transactions processed by Global Shared Services.
• Analyze transactions, investigate variances, and support accruals, adjustments, and close activities.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, schedules, and audit-ready support.
• Maintain fixed asset subledger, record additions, transfers, disposals, and depreciation.
• Support AP/AR processes and resolve issues with Global Shared Services.
• Assist with tax filings, schedules, documentation, and record retention.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
