Job summary

Knoxville Utilities Board (KUB) is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant/Business Analyst to maintain the general ledger, prepare journal entries and financial statements. You will contribute to cash management, investments, and bond-related initiatives while collaborating across the organization to support informed financial decisions.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 1–3 years of experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited four-year college or university.
• 1–3 years of experience in related field.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, written, and team skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently on projects in a timely manner.
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Valid driver's license.
