Maintains accounting records for assigned department or college.Examines financial statements, records, and other financial reportsto confirm accuracy. Ensures statements and accounting recordscomply with current policies and procedures. Reviews processes to improve businesses efficiencies, recommends best-practices. Answersaccounting procedure questions by researching and interpretingaccounting policy and regulations. Maintains financial security by following internal controls and protocol. Provides financialsupport for assigned department, location, unit and/or college
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of highereducation in Accounting or related field or an equivalentcombination of relevant education and/or experience
One (1) year of related work experience
Familiar with PeopleSoft Financials and Banner
Advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher educationrelated to accounting, finance, business or other relatedfield
Previous experience reviewing and reconciling statements
The budgeted salary range is $51,600 to $54,100. Offersare based on relevant experience.
