The position requires a BA/BS in accounting (MS a plus) and a minimum of three years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or higher in accounting; MS a plus.
Minimum 3 years accounting experience; manufacturing exp. a plus.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Coordinate accounting functions and programs.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable.
Prepare financial analyses, statements and regulatory reporting documents.
Prepare revenue projections and forecast expenditure.
Prepare federal, state, local, and special tax returns.
Manage general ledger and assist month-end and year-end close processes.
Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
Assist with annual audit preparations.
Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
Contribute to development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
