Job summary

Select Custom Solutions in La Crosse, WI is seeking a Staff Accountant to manage financial records, prepare reports, and ensure accuracy in transactions across AP, AR, and general ledger.

Joining the team means supporting month-end close, audits, and internal management reporting, while upholding GAAP and internal controls. You'll help drive financial accuracy and collaborate with other departments to support business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• Minimum three years of accounting experience; ERP experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes.

Responsibilities

• Process revenue and expenditures in the general ledger.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation.
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts.
• Support financial statements and internal reporting.
• Assist with year-end audits and internal controls.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and document procedures.
• Back up other accounting positions as needed.
