Goodwill Industries of the Summit seeks an experienced Accountant to support CFO and leadership by managing accounting operations, budgeting, and financial reporting for the organization.

The role emphasizes internal controls, audit support, compliance with GAAP, and collaboration across departments. A bachelor’s in accounting and at least five years of relevant experience are required; CPA preferred. This is an on-site position in Charleston, WV with a comprehensive benefits package.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required or equivalent.
• Five+ years of related accounting and business management experience.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and financial management software; knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with management of all accounting operations including general and cost accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Support budgeting processes and collaborate on annual budget development.
• Coordinate with CFO and leadership for audits, regulatory reporting, and compliance.
• Maintain internal controls and improve accounting procedures for efficiency and accuracy.
