  • Prepares recurring reports such as monthly financial statements, leave and personnel activity reports; processes vouchers and purchase orders.
  • Prepares, reviews, and processes budget, revenue, expense, payroll, and related correcting entries.
  • Reconciles financial statements and fixed assets.
  • Trains departmental staff regarding finance policies and liaises with vendors and funding source representatives.

Accountant _ Expense Reports

To perform basic accounting functions such as ledger/fund maintenance, payroll, fund reconciliation, posting, and fiscal control of inventory. To prepare financial reports and resolve problems related to funds, budgets, expenditures, reimbursements, and/or procurement practices.

Location/s: Central Billing Office-Clinton

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field or completion of a post-bachelor's Accounting certificate program.

  • Prepares recurring reports such as monthly financial statements, leave, and personnel activity reports; processes vouchers and purchase orders.
  • Prepares, reviews, and processes budget, revenue, expense, payroll, and related correcting entries.
  • Reconciles financial statements and fixed assets.
  • Interacts and trains departmental staff regarding finance policies and procedures and funding requirements; liaises with vendors, funding source representatives, and patients.
Physical and Environmental Demands

Requires occasional exposure to bio-hazardous conditions such as risk of radiation exposure, blood borne pathogens, fumes or airborne particles, and/or toxic or caustic chemicals which mandate attention to safety considerations, frequent activities subject to significant volume changes of a seasonal/clinical nature, frequent work produced subject to precise measures of quantity and quality, frequent bending, occasional lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, occasional crouching/stooping, occasional kneeling, occasional pushing/pulling, frequent reaching, constant sitting, frequent standing, occasional twisting, and frequent walking. (occasional-up to 20%, frequent-from 21% to 50%, constant-51% or more)
