Antelope Valley College is seeking a skilled accounting professional to support budgeting, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting for restricted and unrestricted programs. You will prepare, analyze, and maintain district budgets and grants, ensuring GAAP and GASB compliance.
The role requires collaboration with department managers and directors to review financial issues and ensure accurate reporting for state, county, and federal agencies.
Under the direction of the accounting & budgeting supervisor,performs a variety of technical accounting duties in thepreparation, compliance, maintenance, analysis, and control ofdistrict budgets, accounts receivable and payable, financial reportpreparation for restricted and unrestricted programs, accounts andgrants. Maintains related records and prepares periodic and annualreports. Prepares a variety of local, county, State and federalfinancial reports and projections. Performs other related duties asmay be assigned.

Any combination equivalent to: bachelor's degree in accounting,bookkeeping or related field and three years increasinglyresponsible professional experience in the preparation andmaintenance of financial and statistical records.
