Job summary

Provider Resources Inc. is seeking an IDRE Accountant to execute assigned IDRE payment workflows with accuracy and timeliness in a high-volume, regulated environment. No general ledger ownership; this role is operational from day one within a CMS-regulated framework.

Responsibilities include deposits and cash applications, refunds, remittance issuance, and responding to inquiries from insurers. A detail-oriented, analytical mindset is essential for audit-ready records and SLA compliance.

Qualifications

• 1 to 6 years of accounting, finance operations, or payment processing experience.
• Background in high-volume cash operations — AR/AP, cash application, or payment processing.
• Experience in MS Excel (Pivot tables, XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, formulas).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under volume and time pressure.
• Strong critical and analytical thinking skills.
• Healthcare, payment processing, or CMS-regulated environment experience a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; equivalent experience considered
• CPA not required or expected

Responsibilities

• Process deposits and cash application on assigned accounts within SLAs.
• Own refund processing, remittance issuance, and related IDRE workflows end-to-end.
• Document and resolve payment corrections accurately and on time.
• Respond to routine payment inquiries from insurers and payers.

About The Role

The IDRE Accountant is responsible for the accurate, timely execution of assigned IDRE payment workflows — deposit detailing, cash application, refund processing, and remittance issuance. This is a high-accountability role for someone who takes pride in accuracy at scale and thrives in a structured, high-volume environment. No general ledger or technical accounting ownership; this role is operationally focused from day one. You will work within a CMS-regulated framework with defined SLAs and zero-tolerance standards for payment errors — experience in healthcare, payment processing, or other regulated industries will translate directly.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Process stakeholder deposits and execute cash application on assigned accounts within defined SLAs
• Own assigned refund processing, remittance issuance, deposit processing, or other related IDRE Finance workflows endtoend
• Document and resolve payment corrections accurately and within timeline
• Respond to routine payment inquiries from insurance payers and noninsurance payers
• Maintain auditready records for all assigned payment workflows

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 1 to 6 years of accounting, finance operations, or payment processing experience

The anticipated salary range for fully qualified candidates applying for this role will be above (not including discretionary bonus, equity, and benefits). The final salary offered will be dependent on several factors that include but are not limited to relevant previous experience including duration and type of experience within the industry, education, and internal equity.
