Third Judicial Circuit Court of Michigan in Detroit, MI is seeking an accounting professional to provide essential financial support under direct supervision. Primary duties include maintaining financial records, preparing journal vouchers, and assisting with annual budgets and reports.

Candidates that are hired with less than one (1) year of experience in this title will begin at $67,651.00. Upon completion of one (1) year in the title, the employee will receive a salary increase to $81,985.00.
Under direct supervision, performs a variety of activities designed to provide accounting support such as financial and/or fiduciary accounting, grant accounting, monitoring court revenue, preparation of journal vouchers to formal accounting records, prepares financial reports, budget requests and projections, performs collection performance analysis, working with child support financial systems, statistical reporting and other duties as required.
This is an at-will position serving at the pleasure of the Court which may unilaterally exercise the power to terminate your employment at any time, with or without cause.

Grant funded positions are contingent on availability of grant funding and may be terminated should funding substantially reduce or cease. The affected employee may be considered as a candidate for other vacant positions within the Court for which they are qualified.
