The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of accounting experience, proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel, as well as strong communication skills. TempExperts is sourcing for an Accountant for a Security Systems Company located in Northern Pinellas County. The ideal candidate should have accounting experience for a company in the $5M - $10M size range.

Responsibilities

• Provide full accounting expertise, including AR Collections.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and cash position reporting.
• Process accounting through QuickBooks.
• Enhance billing, revenue recognition and costing functions and internal controls with proven process improvement skills.
• Prepare financial, billing, and job reports.
• Strong Quick Books knowledge of billing, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, inventory, journal entries and financial reporting.
• Overtime availability is expected.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• Experience in B2B construction or service‑related industries required.
• 3–5 years of proven Accounting and business administration experience.
• Full charge Bookkeeping experience preferred.
• Experience in the $5M - $10M company size range preferred.
• High level of competency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, IF Stmts) is required.
• High level of competency in QuickBooks is required.
• Excellent communication skills to include written, grammatical, and verbal.
• Ability to handle sensitive personnel matters.
