About the role

Our accounting team is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Accounting Specialist to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of our bookkeeping operations, focusing on our AI-driven bookkeeping and tax products. This role involves managing comprehensive accounting tasks and ensuring seamless operations through close interactions with both internal stakeholders and clients.

What you'll do

• Implement comprehensive setups for new clients, ensuring seamless integration with Uplinq’s bookkeeping systems.
• Apply your critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to analyze and rectify any bookkeeping issues. This includes identifying discrepancies in a set of books, devising a comprehensive action plan to address these issues, and either executing the plan yourself or overseeing its implementation to ensure accurate and efficient outcomes.
• Collaborate on high-level client interactions to refine and tailor accounting services, ensuring client satisfaction and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with Senior Accounting Specialists on the team.

Qualifications

• Transaction Categorization Innovation: Partnered with our technology team to design and implement a cutting-edge tool that automates and refines transaction categorization, significantly streamlining accounting processes.
• Client Dashboard Development: Developed a comprehensive client dashboard providing a detailed overview of bookkeeping health with actionable insights, empowering clients in their financial decision-making.
• Closing Management System: Built from scratch, our internal closing management tool and process ensure efficient and accurate end-of-period financial adjustments, improving reliability and timeliness.
• Sophisticated Troubleshooting SOPs: Formulated advanced standard operating procedures for troubleshooting third-party data source issues, maintaining consistent data integrity and operational continuity.

The pay range for this role is:

60,000 - 75,000 USD per year (Remote)
