Qualifications

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations, identifying and addressing discrepancies.
• Participate in the planning and execution of both internal and external audits.
• Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems.
• Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
• Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
• Provide financial reporting to management, ensuring all information is accurate, comprehensive, and submitted on time.
• Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
• Coordinate with other departments to gather information, resolve issues, and provide financial guidance.
• Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the healthcare industry.
• Proven experience in audit, financial reporting, and bank reconciliations.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Outstanding problem-solving and organization skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
