The successful candidate will guide the Accounts Payable Assistant, review AP activity for accuracy, post monthly journal entries, reconcile balance sheets, and assist with audits and tax filings.
The Old Globe is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Accountant to join our Finance team and support the financial operations of our nonprofit theatre company. This position plays an important role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the monthly close process, preparing financial and operational reports, coordinating union-related payments and reporting, and providing backup support for payroll processing. The Accountant will also provide day-to-day guidance to the Accounts Payable Assistant, helping ensure invoices, payments, and supporting documentation are processed accurately and efficiently.

Pay Rate: Annual Salary range is $70,500 - $75,000. This is a full-time, exempt position with benefits including 401(k) after first year employment. Must be able to pass applicable background check and a credit check. Multilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
