Job summary

CFS in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking an Accountant to maintain the general ledger, close monthly and yearly books, and prepare financial reports. You will assist with accounts payable/receivable and support audits in a hybrid work environment after an initial training period.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance (ACCA welcomed) with 2+ years of accounting experience, SAP ERP familiarity, and advanced Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or ACCA qualification.
• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience working with ERP software, with SAP experience greatly preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• The Accountant will maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial records
• Assist with month-end and year-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Prepare financial reports and support internal reporting needs
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed
