Job summary

Precision Castparts' Grafton plant seeks a skilled Finance professional to prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports, review invoicing, and support cost changes.

The role requires a BS in Accounting or Finance and 1–2 years of experience, with proficiency in standard costing, ERP systems, SOX testing, and financial reconciliations. On-site position with opportunities to contribute to forecasting and planning.

• Prepare Daily / Weekly / Monthly P&L as needed and internal/ WG reports.
• Review and process daily invoicing ensuring revenue recognition and GAAP compliance.
• Review all Standard Cost Changes.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations, load data to Blackline.
• Perform SOX tests and load SOX data to Archer.

Purpose

Prepare Daily / Weekly / Monthly financial reports for the Grafton plant. Review and process daily invoicing and cost changes. Prepare Journal entries and account reconciliations. Assist with SOX testing and reporting, forecasting, planning, and project analysis.

Essential Job Functions

• Reporting of financial results: Prepare Daily / weekly / monthly P&L as needed, both internal and WG Division reports. Prepare weekly charts, RG reports, other ad hoc reports.
• Review and process daily invoicing, ensuring proper revenue recognition and GAAP compliance.
• Review all Standard Cost Changes.
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations, load required information to Blackline.
• Perform SOX tests and review / load SOX data to Archer

Requirements

• BS. Accounting or Finance mandatory.
• 1-2 years business experience.

Special Skills And Physical Requirements

• Knowledge and Understanding of Standard Costing System.
• Experience in using mid to large size ERP Systems.
• Exposure to SOX in a public company environment
• Exposure to modern manufacturing tools (Lean, Six Sigma, etc)
