Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. This position will support various accounting functions including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close processes including balance sheet reconciliations, adjusting entries, and general ledger account analysis
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring proper coding and timely payment of invoices
• Assist with payroll administration, 401k management, and year-end tax reporting including 1099 preparation
• Manage daily cash transactions, perform bank reconciliations, and assist with cash flow forecasting
• Support financial reporting and analysis using QuickBooks and advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros)
• Assist with budget preparation, variance analysis, and project finance reporting
• Process customer invoicing and monitor accounts receivable aging to ensure timely collections

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Recent graduates encouraged to apply)
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and accounting software
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent organizational abilities and time management skills
• Basic understanding of GAAP accounting principles
• Experience with ADP payroll systems preferred but not required
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Visa Sponsorship available for the right candidate
• Potential for growth within the finance department
