Job summary

ITA International, headquartered in Newport News, VA, is seeking a temporary Accountant to join our team. This role reports to the CFO via the Accounting Manager and supports AP, AR, payroll processing, and data entry with Deltek Costpoint expertise.

The position requires 1–3 years of accounting experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• The Accountant will support core accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), payroll processing, and financial data entry and reconciliations.
• This position reports to the Accounting Manager under the Chief Financial Officer.
• Perform AP functions including invoice processing, vendor communications, and payment tracking.
• Support AR activities including invoicing, tracking outstanding balances, and assisting with collections efforts.
• Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness and regulatory compliance.
• Enter and maintain financial data in Deltek Costpoint, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Provide administrative and analytical support to the Accounting team, including reporting, research, and compliance tracking.
• Support audits and financial reviews as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned

ITA is seeking a temporary Accountant to join the team at our Headquarters in Newport News, Virginia.

Responsibilities

The Accountant will support core accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), payroll processing, and financial data entry and reconciliations. This position reports to the Accounting Manager under the Chief Financial Officer.

Pay range for this position is $50,000 - $68,000 annually.

This position has a broad compensation range due to the complexities of government contracting, including contract pricing, labor category requirements, funding parameters, and varying levels of candidate experience and qualifications.
