Job summary

Wild Rice Electric Cooperative is seeking an Accountant to maintain financial records, support reporting, and ensure accurate financial operations across departments in Minnesota.

You will reconcile accounts, assist with tax filings, audits, and strengthen financial controls while providing friendly service to staff and members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance plus two years of relevant experience.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office 365 skills, analytical ability, and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Rural Utilities Service (RUS) accounting practices is an asset.
• Electric utility accounting experience is strongly preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Wild Rice Electric Cooperative offers a competitive hiring range of $36.97 to $38.94 per hour based on qualifications and experience.
