Job summary

Precision Castparts seeks an accounting professional for cost accounting, manufacturing analysis, and SOX-compliant financial reporting. You will support month-end close, reconcile ledgers, and prepare internal reports in a collaborative environment.

  • Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with team members, coworkers, production staff and management.
  • Review and improve daily processes and tasks to expedite and improve workflow.
  • Perform job functions with minimal supervision.

Work Experience

Principal Area Of Responsibility

This position is for an accounting professional that will use critical thinking and communication skills to apply accounting theory and knowledge. This position will apply skills to specific areas such as cost accounting, manufacturing analysis, account reconciliations, and accounting policy compliance for PCC Airfoils. The individual must ensure accuracy of financial statements by providing accurate accounting of transactions in area of responsibility in compliance with Sarbanes–Oxley (SOX) and PCC corporate policies.

Specific Duties

Physical Demands

Must be able to frequently remain in a stationary position. Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
