Job summary

OMGHired is seeking a GENERAL ACCOUNTANT to oversee complex accounting functions and maintain accurate financial records. The role supports the CFO and manages critical monthly and year-end processes.

The incumbent will handle balance sheet reconciliations, grant accounting, payroll accounting, journal entries, expense reclassifications, and depreciation, contributing to the organization’s financial integrity.

Qualifications

DESCRIPTION

This position is responsible for overseeing complex accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the organization’s overall financial integrity and compliance. Manages critical components of the monthly and year-end process, including balance sheet reconciliations, grant accounting, payroll accounting, journal entries, expense reclassifications, amortization, depreciation and financial reporting activities, along with other functions as required. Supports the efforts of the CFO.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Education & Experience: Must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
