You will work closely with the Controller and accounting team to maintain accurate financial information and drive improvements. The role covers general ledger accounting, month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, financial reporting, audit support, and payroll review/approvals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 3+ years general accounting experience preferred.
• Strong experience with General Ledger, month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
• Support general ledger accounting and financial reporting across multiple locations.
• Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports.
• Assist with year-end close and external audit preparation.
• Review payroll-related information—no payroll processing required.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Support internal controls and accounting process improvements.
• Participate in special projects and other accounting initiatives.
• Work closely with the Controller and accounting team to ensure timely, accurate financial information.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial and payroll-related information.

A growing, established industrial/manufacturing company is looking to add an Accountant to its team in Langhorne, PA.

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys working across multiple locations, taking ownership of day-to-day accounting responsibilities, and growing with an organization. The role is open due to continued company growth and an upcoming retirement, providing the opportunity to cross-train with an experienced team member through the end of the year before taking on additional responsibilities.

Salary: $70,000–$80,000 + quarterly bonus based on company results

About the Role

The Accountant will support the day-to-day accounting functions for approximately 6–10 locations, working closely with the Controller and accounting team.

This position will have exposure to a broad range of accounting responsibilities, including general ledger accounting, month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, financial reporting, audit support, and payroll review/approvals.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Accountant with strong fundamentals who is looking for an opportunity to grow, take on additional responsibilities, and become a key member of the accounting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
• Support general ledger accounting and financial reporting across multiple locations
• Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports

• Support accounting activities related to union/collective bargaining employees
• Review and approve payroll-related information — no payroll processing required
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities

• Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial and payroll-related information

What We're Looking For
