The Accountant will support the Accounting and Finance department with daily operations, including accounts payable processing, general ledger maintenance, financial analysis, and month-end close activities. This role also assists with audits, tax documentation, and intercompany transactions. The ideal candidate has strong experience in A/P processing, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Determine A/P payment schedule and process payments in accordance with suggested OpEx budget
- Post and maintain A/P billings and OpEx ledger activity
- Support month-end closing activities, including adjusting journal entries
- Review and approve Concur reports, including employees corporate card transactions and reimbursements
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and reconcile accounts
- Process payments by accruing expenses, assigning account numbers, and requesting disbursements
- Maintain and reconcile prepaid expense accounts
- Maintain accounting ledgers in accordance with internal policies and compliance requirements
- Support the Accounting department with analysis and reporting in relation to OpEx and A/P
- Manage fixed asset records and tracking
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting procedures and recommend process improvements
- Maintain accurate balances for intercompany A/P and A/R transactions and reconcile with counterparts in global entities.
- Serve as liaison between U.S and international entities with ad-hoc reports and inquiries for intercompany transactions
- Post intercompany service revenues by verifying and entering transactions
- Support internal and external audit process and preparation
- Prepare quarterly and annual tax forms as required by various government agencies
- Generate ad hoc reports as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Experience supporting month-end closing and system management
- Experience with SAP software strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Quick learner with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and processes

- Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.
- Must be able to lift up to at least 20 pounds at times.
