Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Accounting with advanced coursework.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel and accounting software skills.
• Microsoft Dynamics AX experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger for multiple entities and units.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and docs.
• Perform month-end and year-end close and reporting.
• Support audits with schedules and reconciliations.
• Assist with financial statement prep and reporting.
• Sales Tax filings.
• Forecast select accounts monthly.
• ERP rollout/setup experience a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills required.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Accountant to manage accounting operations, financial reporting, and general ledger activities across multiple legal entities and business units. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records while supporting timely month-end close processes and financial reporting requirements.

The ideal candidate is a self-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can effectively manage multiple priorities, and is comfortable taking ownership of complex accounting responsibilities. In addition to day-to-day accounting activities, this individual will participate in special projects and bring a creative, solutions-oriented mindset to identifying and addressing business challenges.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger activities for multiple entities and business units.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Perform month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Support audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and requested documentation.
• Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting requirements.
• Sales Tax Filings
• Forecast certain accounts for monthly forecasting.
• Experience with an ERP rollout and setup is a definite plus
• Advanced Excel skills a must
