Base pay range: $70,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr

About the Role: Manufacturing client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join their team. This role is a great opportunity for an accounting professional with a few years of experience in general accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close processes. You'll be part of a collaborative environment and play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting reporting initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries for monthly, quarterly, and year-end close
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, vendor statements, prepaid expenses, and other balance sheet accounts
• Assist with month-end close, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Analyze account balances and identify discrepancies, making corrections as needed
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as necessary
• Generate financial reports and assist with ad hoc financial analysis
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall financial goals
• Maintain compliance with company policies and GAAP standards

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or related field
• Strong knowledge of journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
• Experience with financial reporting and analysis
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and other accounting software
