This role will be a key partner supporting the SPM Oil & Gas Product Management team and several key strategic growth initiatives. The position provides financial leadership and analytical support for increased investments tied to programs that are essential to achieving the future goals of SPM. The role delivers actionable reporting and insights that enable leadership to prioritize investments, monitor performance, and make informed decisions. In addition, it leads New Product Introduction financial analysis for a key product portfolio to support strategic growth initiatives. Beyond program support, this position drives margin performance analytics, helping the organization measure price realization, monitor product cost competitiveness, and evaluate the effectiveness of profitability actions.

What You Have
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree within Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Financial Reporting: Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports.
Top Candidates Will Have
  • Manufacturing, operations finance, or cost accounting experience, including tariffs.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with proven ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Power BI for advanced data analysis and reporting.
  • Demonstrated success driving process improvement, automation, and reporting enhancements.
Summary Pay Range

$112,710.00 - $169,060.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
