H.W. Kaufman Group in Michigan is seeking an Accounting professional to perform financial reporting and analysis, prepare monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and inter-company transactions.

The role requires strong GAAP knowledge and excellent Excel skills, with a focus on deadlines and accuracy. You will analyze forecast variances, communicate results clearly, and participate in process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• 2+ years accounting experience required.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and be detail oriented.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
• Insurance industry experience is not required.
• Employer paid continuing education courses via Kaufman Institute.
