CFS is seeking an Accountant for 100% onsite role in Edwardsburg, MI. You will perform cost analysis, manage general ledger, and support month-end close with timely reporting.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in accounting and at least 3 years of accounting experience, with strong Excel skills and familiarity with an ERP system. This role emphasizes attention to detail, organization, and cross-functional communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience (cost accounting preferred).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; familiarity with a major ERP.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and creative problem-solver with strong communication skills across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Perform cost analysis and analyze purchase price variances.
• Maintain general ledger accounts; prepare accurate journal entries.
• Reconcile accounts payable and freight expenses; complete account reconciliations.
• Support month-end close with timely reconciliations and reporting.

Overview Of The Accountant Role
