Candidates should be based in the New York City Area and are expected to work in a hybrid model.

The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience at an agency and/or in-house technology company, with strong media relationships in technology and AI sectors, and a background in journalism. They should be skilled in advising senior executives, leading cross-functional teams, and business development, with a robust local network. The role involves serving as a trusted media relations advisor, ensuring quality and timely delivery of strategies and results.

The role requires thriving in a fast-paced environment, leading strategic programs, identifying growth opportunities, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to firm initiatives.

Requirements

• Craft authentic narratives highlighting thought leadership in tech, AI, and future of work topics.
• Proven success in media pitching, securing coverage, and positioning executives.
• Leverage newsroom experience to develop impactful PR strategies.
• Lead strategic counsel and proactive media campaigns from planning to execution.
• Strong writing skills for plans, press releases, pitches, and other materials.
• Maintain relationships with top-tier media and understand the evolving media landscape.
• Translate complex technical topics into compelling stories.
• Lead and mentor junior team members, manage accounts financially, and support new business efforts.
