We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Account Supervisor to work Remote based out of our West region office. The primary responsibility of an Account Supervisor is to understand Chevy brand & Local Marketing Association (LMA) objectives, implement strategies to accomplish them and manage/oversee an Account Executive.

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Understand the Clients business objectives as well as the business climate in their assigned region including sales rate, inventory, competitive marketing activities and market share
  • Understand Brand strategy and Marketing Communications activities and lead the development of tactics that extend, amplify and activate these initiatives in the local market
  • Analyze the business and lead the development of strategic marketing communication solutions for the Clients
  • Report timely and accurate information on market conditions and LMA marketing communications activities and problems or critical situations
  • Attend and lead monthly Chevy LMA meetings/dealer visits

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Business-related or equivalent, relevant experience
  • 5+ years of previous dealer group experience working in the Field in a supervisory role is ideal
  • Ability to develop strategic marketing communication plans
  • Must have strong presentation skills, experience with client interaction and possess confidence to assertively and tactfully manage challenging clients
  • Firm grasp of financial management and forecasting
  • Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written) with internal agency departments, vendors and LMA clients
  • Must be able to travel locally (within assigned Northeast territory) to Chevy LMA meetings (20-25% month)
  • Must be agile, organized, efficient and creative on both strategic and tactical levels to keep up with the active workload of this retail account
  • Must have a keen understanding of the automotive industry and Chevy products
  • Media planning and buying savvy is very advantageous on this account
