Account Strategist, LinkedIn Advertising (Remote US)
Abe — Remote-friendly consultancy focused on social media advertising, with a growth mindset and a client-centric approach. We work with LinkedIn, Meta, and other platforms to help clients reach, engage, and convert target audiences. This role reports to the Associate Director and is part of the social media team. This is a ground-floor opportunity in a fast-growing specialty agency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead a collection of social media accounts
- Serve as direct support to client contacts
- Weekly communication with vendors or operational partners to align on tasks, quality, and improvements
- Build strategies for clients each quarter
- Create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns
- Understand client positioning and unique value propositions
- Confirm lead routing is accurate within a CRM
- Maintain personal productivity and utilization
- Collaborate with the Associate Director to meet internal and client goals
- Understand the value of programmatic campaigns
- Drive cross-sells, upsells, and referrals via client relationships
- Execute and optimize advertising campaigns within LinkedIn (ad copywriting, TAM development, targeting) to maximize ROI
What You Offer (Qualifications)
- 2+ years of experience at a performance/digital marketing agency, supporting B2B clients
- Deep expertise in paid social advertising campaigns, especially LinkedIn Ads
- Understanding of LinkedIn ad units (conversation ads, document ads, CTV, and more)
- Proficiency with advertising platforms/tools (LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Zoominfo, 6Sense, etc.)
- Strong understanding of paid principles (keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, optimization)
- Ability to analyze campaign data with tools like Google Analytics/GA4, Excel, or other analytics platforms
- Ability to drive results and measure via OCT
- Experience with audience segmentation by tier, job title, etc.
- Proven success with mid-market or enterprise accounts
- Ability to translate and articulate strategy and tell data-driven stories
- Problem-solver with a growth mindset; curious and collaborative
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects
- Quality-focused with a passion for advertising
- Willingness to travel to visit clients approximately once per year or as needed

- Effectively manage approximately five mid-tier and enterprise accounts
- Meet and exceed department KPIs (client growth, client satisfaction scores, NSMs)
- Build client trust and relationships that enable renewals

- Clear communication of results with client contacts and executives
- Strong decision-making for strategic directions of accounts

- Salary range: $70,000-$80,000 USD with potential for bonus eligibility; actual salary varies based on compensation practices and experience

Work Environment
Remote-first company with the option to work from Abe offices in Irvine, CA. Some global opportunities may be available where we have established presence (Canada, UK, Australia) with appropriate work authorization. Role is 100% virtual from home; collaboration via Zoom and Slack. Requires reliable internet, ability to work with a computer, and the capacity to remain stationary for extended periods.
