What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to service past due accounts
- Adhere to state and federal collection guidelines during calls
- Negotiate payment solutions to improve revenue collection
- Use a consultative approach to encourage future card usage
- Assist in the customer service inbound call center as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience
- Ability to be licensed by the state of Minnesota as a debt collector
- Proven ability to manage a high volume of calls with attention to detail
- A secure, distraction-free workspace for remote work
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 6+ months of experience in collection-related roles or first-party collections
- Demonstrated technical troubleshooting skills and experience navigating multiple systems
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision in a virtual environment
