Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking a qualified billing specialist to support pediatric patient accounts. High school diploma required; physician or hospital billing experience and/or training, BS/BA preferred.

EPIC experience is preferred and knowledge of ICD-10 coding is essential. You will handle third party billing, ensure accurate claims processing, and maintain strong communication with patients and providers.

Job Description
  • 1. High school graduate required; physician or hospital billing experience and/or training, BS or BA preferred.

  • 8. Thorough knowledge of patient accounting, third party payer procedures, governmental regulations and managed care contracting to be effectively proactive in the billing and collection process, and to respond to inquiries on patient accounts in a customer satisfaction manner.

Pay Range

$21.00-$32.55 Hourly
