Job summary

Performance Foodservice in the Chattanooga area is seeking a sales-focused professional to develop independent account business and promote company-branded products. You will improve profitability through new sales, account penetration, and servicing regional and national customers as needed.

Responsibilities include territory analysis, pricing decisions, and effective sales presentations, with emphasis on achieving brand sales objectives and strong customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 6–12 months food or beverage sales experience.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Generates additional business by analyzing sales territory, samples products, plans general sales strategy, and conducts sales presentations.
• Grows sales and profit margins to meet sales and margin goals.
• Sets up new customer accounts by determining pricing and coordinating with Credit and delivery teams.
• Ensures customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and coordinating with center staff.
• Builds additional business with current customers through product penetration to maximize profitability.
• Minimizes accounts receivable problems by monitoring credit terms and following up on issues.
• Maintains awareness of pricing trends in the territory to ensure competitive pricing.
