This position offers a monthly performance-based bonus opportunity, with the potential to earn several hundred dollars in addition to your hourly pay.

Summary of Role:

As an Account Representative with Monterey Financial, you will help consumers take control of their financial future by utilizing excellent customer service and negotiating skills.

• Assist consumers with account level questions and adjustments
• Negotiate and process payment on accounts in various stages of delinquency
• Understand and adhere to MFS and Client policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

• Reliability and the desire to learn
• Excellent communication, active listening and problem solving skills
• Ability to provide excellent customer service
• Comfortable with fast-paced environments
• Basic math and typing skills
• Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software
• Strong time management skills and ability to multitask
• Effectively identify and solve problems
• Basic credit and/or collection knowledge a plus

Education and/or Experience.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer Service Experience or Call Center Experience (preferred, not required).

This job operates its functions in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear using a telephone headset and is required to sit for a long period while using a computer.
