Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Keosauqua, IA is seeking a motivated Account Representative to support customers and sales teams through the full order lifecycle. You will translate customer requirements into actionable orders, configure complex refrigeration products, and coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate quotations and on-time delivery.

This role requires 2–3 years in account management or inside sales, an Associate degree, and solid Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2–3 years of related experience.
• Experience in account management, customer service, or inside sales.
• Basic HVAC/R knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer bid packages.
• Determine customer product needs and upselling options to improve margins.
• Configure complex products in internal software to generate quotations for customers, regions, and dealers.
• Manage orders through quotes to equipment installation.
• Provide price quotations and/or process orders; reconcile pricing discrepancies.
• Liaise with internal Engineering, Product Management, Technical Support, Planning, and Production to determine feasibility of new products and options.
• Collaborate with finance, shipping, and production to clear credit issues and communicate with customers, regional sales managers, and dealers.
• Act as internal point of contact for account(s) and respond to order inquiries.
• Provide order status updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Participate in customer visits and contribute to presentations and process clarification.
• Create and maintain general work instructions and customer specification documents for accounts.

This professional will take in all customer requirements and translate that information to organizational demand while delivering exceptional service throughout the customer journey.
