Amazon Selling Partner Recruitment and Success is seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Representative for our Direct Sales new business development team. The Account Representative will be responsible for recruiting and launching new brands within the Softlines, Hardlines, and Consumables categories.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Be the primary contact for companies throughout the sales process, developing and managing a sales pipeline of high-value and transactional accounts.
  2. Identify and build relationships with key influencers and decision-makers within prospective accounts and internal teams.
  3. Create and present Amazon solutions that meet customer requirements.
  4. Coordinate across Amazon teams to drive growth for over 2 million Amazon Sellers through business intelligence, cross-selling, and account management.
  5. Analyze customer data, execute sales strategies, and develop metrics to track success and uncover opportunities.
  6. Manage complex contract negotiations and serve as a liaison with the legal team.
  7. Prospect and close new business to meet quarterly quotas.
  8. Utilize tools to track account information, forecast, and prioritize sales efforts.
  9. Develop industry knowledge and competitive insights.
  10. Maintain current accounts while completing additional projects like mentorship and analysis.
  11. Prepare and deliver business reviews on territory health and progress.
  12. Meet or exceed revenue targets and operational metrics.
  13. Articulate compelling value propositions for Selling on Amazon.
  14. Understand and communicate the features and functionalities of Selling on Amazon products.
  15. Support internal partners to drive change and close deals.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience selling innovative solutions to new and existing customers.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools like Salesforce.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 8-10 years of experience in the Fashion or Sports and Outdoors industry.
  • 8-10 years of sales and/or business development experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of B2B or enterprise sales focusing on new business acquisition.
  • Knowledge of procurement and source-to-pay processes.
  • Experience identifying trends to improve large-scale technology deals.
