Bank of America is seeking a Merrill Onboarding and Maintenance specialist to support the setup and ongoing maintenance of client brokerage accounts. You will review documentation, process account openings or updates, and serve client inquiries with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.

The role emphasizes timely processing within a fast-paced environment, with 40-hour weeks and standard in-office operations in the United States.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting brokerage accounts or clients in operations or client service.
• Ability to manage a high-volume personal caseload with 48-hour turnaround times.
• Ability to apply judgment and escalate risk appropriately.
• Strong written and verbal communication for internal partners.
• Flexible hours 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM Mon–Fri.

Responsibilities

• Performs onboarding and maintenance of accounts and reviews required documentation.
• Reviews and approves documentation, obtaining approvals or exceptions.
• Responds to client inquiries via multiple channels and provides status updates.
• Researches processing errors, resolves exceptions, and completes corrective actions.
• Identifies potential issues in daily tasks and escalates risk as appropriate.
• Provides general operational support including inbound calls and mail handling.
• Understands end-to-end process flow and its upstream/downstream impacts.
• Reviews and approves required account documentation.
