Job description

US Account Manager
Why join Housr?

We’re building Housr to make life easier for students living off campus, from finding somewhere to live to accessing the services, offers and experiences around them.

We’ve reached $10m ARR and raised a $10m Series A to support our growth. As we expand across the UK and North America, we’re looking for a US Account Manager to manage and grow relationships with our local business and property management partners in North America.

The opportunity

We are expanding our presence across key US college markets. We need a dedicated Account Manager to oversee partner onboarding, maintain strong day-to-day relationships, and maximize engagement across both property and perk partners, with a primary emphasis on growing and managing our perk partner network.

You’ll act as the main point of contact for property and perk partners across North America—spanning national brands and local business operators—ensuring smooth onboarding, driving renewal rates, and ensuring partners deliver genuine value and enticing offers to students on the Housr platform.

Why this role is interesting

Our US business is growing quickly, presenting a unique opportunity to shape our partner success playbook across both student housing and perk partnerships as new campus markets come to life.

You’ll work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to deliver seamless onboarding, drive student engagement with partner perks and offers, represent partner feedback internally, and expand revenue across accounts.

What you’ll own
  • End-to-end account management, retention, and success for assigned US perk and property partner accounts
  • Successful partner onboarding, product adoption, offer setup, and ongoing health tracking across key engagement metrics.
  • Regular account reviews and performance reporting on promotional campaigns, offer redemptions, listing activity, and student usage.
  • Identifying upsell, cross-sell, and expanded placement opportunities to grow revenue and partner participation across university markets.
  • Gathering feedback from local business owners and national brand partners to influence product strategy and positioning for the US market.
  • Collaborating with GTM and marketing teams on joint promotional campaigns, local activations, and ensuring perk offers go live smoothly.
  • Managing contract renewals, terms negotiation across structured and local agreements, and maintaining clear records in HubSpot.
What we’re looking for
  • Proven track record in B2B account management, client success, or partner operations managing brand or property accounts.
  • Experience working within brand partnerships, local merchant services, proptech, student housing, or SaaS industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to retain and expand key accounts while building strong relationships with both local business owners and mid‑market teams.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (such as HubSpot) and analyzing partner usage metrics.
  • Self-starter attitude with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-growing, multi-time-zone environment.
A real nice to have
  • Direct experience managing perk, brand, or local merchant partnerships in major US college markets.
  • Familiarity with launching partner offers in new geographic territories or working with local student-focused businesses.
What we offer
  • 20 days PTO plus federal holidays
  • 100 percent employer-paid medical, dental, and vision, with options for dependents
  • 401(k) match, life, and disability cover
  • Front-row seat to hyper-growth - Join a company that has gone from $0 to $10M ARR in 18 months and is just getting started in North America.
  • Flexibility & trust - We care about outcomes, not clock-watching. You’ll have the autonomy to do your best work.
  • Work with a world-class, global team - Collaborate with sharp, driven teammates across the US, UK, and beyond.
Interview process

We aim to keep the process straightforward and relevant to the role.

  1. An introductory conversation with our Talent Partner (Matt)
  2. Video call with our COO (Nick)
  3. A practical account strategy presentation based on a realistic scenario, shared in advance with our US leadership team
  4. A final conversation with our Founder & CEO

We’re happy to discuss any adjustments that would help you take part in the process.
