Job summary

Prosegur Security USA, Inc. in Chicago, IL is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to maintain a safe environment for customers and employees and provide general security services for our clients.

You will perform routine foot patrols, monitor access, report hazards, and support client contract services. Strong English communication and interpersonal skills are essential, with basic computer skills and a customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Must pass all necessary training.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in screening, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Knowledge of security operations.
• Active PERC and 20hr

Responsibilities

• Responsible for security site operations and customer contract services for the Guarding division.
• Recruit and interview new employees to meet the needs of our guarding clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.
