This is a remote, field-based position. The selected individual will be required to live in or near the designated metropolitan area (Knoxville, Nashville, or Chattanooga).
- Responsible for overall equipment orders and revenue within an assigned geographic sales territory.
- Identify and qualify sales opportunities within current customer install base and new prospects.
- Develop effective relationships with key individuals and decision makers within customer accounts.
- Conduct solution evaluations via in-person presentations, demonstrations, and site visit testimonials, in collaboration with customer-facing teams (RBM, Service, Project Management).
- Close sales orders on a quarterly basis.
- Develop accurate quarterly sales forecasts that roll up to the Zone Vice President.
- Maintain regular contact with all customers and advocate for the customer throughout the product/solution lifecycle.
- Evaluate and call on all customer accounts within the territory, identifying new account opportunities.
- Partner with Project Management to ensure successful installation of imaging equipment.
- Update prospective sales opportunities and contacts using CMSU automated sales tools.
- Complete administrative tasks timely (e.g., Expenses, Training).
- Develop and implement market penetration strategies to increase sales, leveraging competitive analysis and market research.
- Ensure CRM tools are regularly updated to reflect territory coverage and customer activity.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers, employees, and management.
- Develop territory coverage plans to ensure all accounts are covered.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience in consultative selling and closing large contracts.
- Experience with long sales cycles.
- Experience working with sales quotas and forecasting.
- Knowledge of diagnostic imaging products and systems.
- 4-year Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
- At least 2 years' sales experience in the medical imaging or related field.
