Job summary

Yellowstone Landscape, the nation’s leading privately owned commercial landscaping company, seeks an Account Manager to oversee relationships for a portfolio of national accounts. You will coordinate with internal branch management and service partners to ensure seamless delivery of services and outstanding client satisfaction.

You’ll build a network of subcontractors, prequalify, negotiate and regularly review performance, and report site visits to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture or related field preferred; Associate considered with experience.
• 2–5 years in a professional landscape management firm.
• Experience managing subcontractors and/or crews.
• Passion for client service and superb communication skills.
• Willingness to travel overnight as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a nationwide commercial properties portfolio and coordinate with branches.
• Proactively communicate with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Daily management of multiple work order systems and reports.
• Grow sales on existing properties and optimize service delivery.
• Build a network of subcontractors; prequalify, negotiate, review performance.
• Compile site-visit documentation and deliver regular client reports.
• Coordinate with Accounting for billing and invoicing needs.

Responsibilities

• Management of a portfolio consisting of commercial properties nationwide
• Proactively communicating with clients
• Daily Management of multiple work order systems
• Enhancement sales on existing properties
• Creating a network of subcontractors outside of our existing branch locations, including prequalification, negotiation and continuous review of services provided
• Compiling site visits documentation, then providing reports to clients on a regular basis
• Coordinating with our Accounting team for billing and invoicing needs

Requirements

• A landscape professional with a positive and engaging interpersonal style
• Bachelor's Degree in Horticulture or a related major strongly preferred; an Associate's Degree will be considered, along with relevant experience
• Two to five years of prior experience with a professional landscape management firm
• Experience managing subcontractors and / or crews
• Passion for client service
• Superb communication skills; both written and verbal
• Some overnight travel may be required
