The Account Manager is responsible for managing the full sales cycle within an assigned territory, including lead generation, closing new business, and post-sale relationship management. This role supports a diverse customer base, including medium-sized community medical centers, critical access hospitals, outpatient imaging centers, and local IDNs.


Serving as the primary point of contact, the Account Manager collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including sales leadership, service, and support, to deliver superior customer satisfaction. This position is accountable for achieving sales quotas and driving long‑term territory growth aligned with company strategy, vision, and values.


Salary:

$40,000 annually + $120,000 guarantee for 12-months. ($40,000 annually + commission thereafter)


Responsibilities:


  • Complete onboarding and new hire training to develop strong understanding of product positioning, pricing, and resources to leverage customer engagements.

  • Achieve assigned sales quotas through consultative selling and a deep knowledge of the NXC Imaging Business Portfolio, which includes Canon Core Business, QTI, used/refurbished equipment, etc.

  • Drive revenue growth by selling, maintaining, and growing NXC Imaging service contracts across all available channels (core business, MVS, Parts, etc.).

  • Develop and execute an operational strategic business plan for assigned territory and accounts to expand the NXC Imaging Brand and increase both equipment sales and service revenue, by leveraging programs such as NXC ONE.

  • Cultivate and manage business relationships with multiple decision-makers and stakeholders within assigned territory / accounts.

  • Maintain regular in-person contact with customers to strengthen relationships, identify future sales and/or service opportunities and understand if existing support requirements are being met.

  • Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations and proposals, including assisting with RFP responses.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM data, including all customer information, install base, activities, and sales forecasting.

  • Contribute to NXC Sales Team's success by sharing market insights, strategies and best practices.

  • Initiate contact and engage with all assigned customers to maintain high levels of client satisfaction and business retention.

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams while maintaining a positive and professional approach.

  • Demonstrate a high level of integrity while building trust and maintaining a strong customer focus to ensure customers feel valued.

  • Build and maintain professional internal and external relationships aligned with company core values.

  • Foster productive working relationships across departments to support business objectives. Be a positive Team member of the NXC Organization.

  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and core values.


Qualifications:


  • Post-secondary degree

  • 3 - 5 years' proven sales experience, preferably in the medical field.

  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong self-motivation, initiative, and resourcefulness.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including directors, executives, C-suite leaders, and physicians.

  • Confidence and presence to lead discussions and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

  • Strategic thinker with solid analytical capabilities; high attention to detail and commitment to accuracy; ability to solve problems creatively.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook); experience with CRM systems (Salesforce) a plus.

  • Positive, professional attitude with a strong customer focus.

  • Willingness to travel, including overnight travel as required.

  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
