UFP Site Built is the leader in designing and manufacturing value-added wood and non-wood products for the construction industry. We offer a wide variety of wood structural components, aluminum decks and rails, and light gauge steel structural components.
The Account Manager is responsible for the sale of roof and floor wood component sales and services by developing and maintaining customer contacts in either of the below areas:
Jacksonville, FL
Brunswick, GA
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Services and maintains positive relationships with current customer base
Identify customer needs and solve problems
Understand and perform cost savings analysis for customers
Generates new sales by promoting product line to new and existing customers
Troubleshoots problems for customer
Qualify customers’ creditworthiness
Monitors sales market in assigned region
Prepares various reports as required
Accounts receivable management
Month-end inventory participation
Performs other duties as required
Qualifications
Preferred bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related area
Minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant building material sales, selling roof and floor trusses
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook and other software for business applications
Preferred manufacturing background, but not required
Preferred experience and knowledge on UFP’s organization, culture, and product lines
Compensation
Salary Pay Range dependent on experience, geographical location, commission structure, and cost of living adjustments. Variable compensation may be available.
