Job Description

We are looking for an Account Manager based in our Rosario Office, Argentina. In this customer-facing sales role, you will liaise and build relationships with our customers' executive management teams to exceed sales targets across a broad range of industrial software, power control, and process control solutions. Your success will be achieved by leveraging Rockwell Automation’s key areas of innovation, including Smart Manufacturing, Industry 4.0 technologies such as Augmented Reality, IIoT platforms, Advanced Analytics, Industrial Cloud solutions, MOM / MES, and our Connected Enterprise architecture.

You will establish and maintain relationships at assigned accounts, including End Users, OEMs, and System Integrators, coordinating with distributors to ensure efficient resource utilization.

Your Responsibilities:
  1. Achieve sales targets in products, services, and solutions by actively negotiating and closing opportunities while collaborating with broader sales teams and partners.
  2. Grow existing accounts and acquire new or competitive accounts.
  3. Improve customer satisfaction for assigned account packages.
  4. Develop strategic account plans through disciplined planning and execution.
  5. Lead stakeholders and partners in executing tactical actions aligned with strategic account plans.
  6. Spend at least 70% of your time in customer-facing activities.
  7. Manage sales opportunities and pipelines using available sales tools.
  8. Ensure customer satisfaction through regular contacts, visits, and surveys.
  9. Facilitate resolution of customer issues.
  10. Analyze current business levels against sales targets and provide forecasts.
  11. Stay current on industry trends, competitors, market drivers, and RA offerings.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in an industrial production environment with solution-based outcomes.
  • Minimum of 5 years of outcome-based solutions selling experience.
  • Experience in industries such as Metals, Automotive, Agriculture, or Food & Beverage.
  • Software experience in AI, Analytics, Data contextualization, Industrial Cloud, MES, Business Intelligence, Digital Transformation, etc.
  • Intermediate level of English.
