Pay Rate: $90,000 - $100,000 per year plus commission (base salary based on experience)

Region: Arkansas, Kansas, Mississippi, and Missouri

Work Location: Fully remote. Candidate must live in/near Kansas City or St. Louis, Missouri.

Position Summary:

The Account Manager will actively visit potential and existing customers in their assigned territory to promote and sell our products or services. Building relationships, identifying needs, and closing deals to meet sales quotas within a designated territory, often relying on in-person interactions to generate new business and maintain customer loyalty.

Responsibilities:
  • Prospecting: Identifying and qualifying potential new customers through networking, lead generation, and market research.
  • Territory Planning: 4-6 weeks of territory travel planning.
  • Scheduling and conducting in-person meetings with customers to present products/services, address concerns, and demonstrate value.
  • 8-10 new business appointments scheduled per week.
  • Participating in trade shows and conferences.
  • Needs analysis: Understanding customer requirements and tailoring sales pitches to match their specific needs.
  • Delivering sales presentations: Showcasing product features and benefits, highlighting competitive advantages.
  • Negotiation: Negotiating pricing, terms, and contract details with customers to close deals.
  • Relationship building: Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships through regular communication and follow-up.
  • Sales reporting: Tracking sales activities, customer data, and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • CRM management: Utilizing customer relationship management (CRM) software to manage sales pipeline and customer information.
  • Market analysis: Staying informed about market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of sales experience; apparel industry sales a plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Travel up to 75% of the time.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Proficient with CRM systems.
  • Excellent communication skills: Ability to articulate product benefits clearly and confidently in person.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: Building rapport and establishing trust with customers.
  • Sales acumen: Understanding sales cycles, objection handling, and closing techniques.
  • Time management: Effectively managing a busy sales schedule and prioritizing leads.
  • Problem-solving: Identifying and resolving customer issues or concerns.
  • Adaptability: Adjusting sales strategies based on customer needs and market conditions.
Physical Requirements:
  • Driving as per job duties. Infrequent standing and walking. Constant sitting.
  • Rare climbing, crawling; infrequent balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching. Frequent reaching and handling.
  • Visual and sensory requirements: Occasional use of far visual acuity, depth perception, color vision, and visual field; frequent use of near and midrange visual acuity, visual accommodation, and talking.
