If you come from the world of corporate events, meetings, incentives, experiential marketing, DMCs, or live event production — and you enjoy building client relationships just as much as executing great events — this could be an exciting next step. We are partnering with a fast-growing, full-service live event production company that has been creating memorable experiences for more than 30 years. The organization works as an extension of its clients’ teams, supporting everything from concept through execution across corporate meetings, conventions, trade shows, product launches, road shows, and large-scale live events.
Their capabilities span staging and scenic design, lighting, audio and video, virtual and hybrid events, immersive technology, media production, trade show exhibits, and audience engagement solutions. With a national footprint, a growing team, and approximately 150 events produced each year, the company is continuing to expand and is looking for an experienced Account Manager to help own, retain, and grow key client relationships.
This is not a traditional event-planning or logistics-only position. The Account Manager is the primary relationship owner for a portfolio of existing clients. You will work alongside dedicated technical Project Managers who handle the production and execution side of the event, while you focus on the client relationship, account strategy, retention, and growth.
You will inherit an existing book of business and be expected to become a trusted partner to your clients — understanding their programs, anticipating their needs, identifying opportunities to expand the relationship, and ensuring they continue choosing the team year after year.
For someone who is commercially minded and wants their compensation to grow alongside their accounts, there is significant upside through an uncapped commission structure.
Event industry experience is required for this position. The ideal candidate has built their career within the meetings, incentives, events, experiential, DMC, AV, or live-production environment and already understands how these programs come together. We're particularly interested in candidates who have experience working directly with meeting planners and corporate event clients and who have progressed beyond pure event execution into client ownership and account growth.
You should bring:
This role requires frequent overnight travel to support client programs and strengthen relationships onsite.
Events may take place during the traditional workweek or over weekends, so candidates must be comfortable with a schedule that flexes around the live-events calendar.
Because a significant portion of the company's event activity occurs in Austin, Las Vegas, and Southern California, candidates based in or near one of these markets are strongly preferred.
You won't be joining a large organization where you're simply managing a small piece of the client experience.
You'll have the opportunity to work directly with clients, collaborate closely with production experts, and make a measurable impact on the growth of your accounts.
