Job summary

Aerogen, a global leader in acute care aerosol drug delivery, is seeking an Account Manager to drive sales and support in the assigned North American region. You will manage the full sales cycle, train clinical staff and distributors, and collaborate with Marketing to launch new products.

Applicants should have at least 2 years in a medical device commercial role, strong clinical and financial acumen, and the ability to build strategic physician relationships. Travel and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years in a similar medical device commercial role.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales revenue quota for Aerogen products in assigned territory.
  • Manage full sales process from interest to orders and training.
  • Drive and support Aerogen distributors.
  • Launch new products in territory with Marketing.
  • Establish physician and clinician relationships.
  • Maintain core business hours with travel as needed.

What is the role?

What is the role?

The Account Manager is responsible for sales and support of Aerogen products in assigned region.

What are the key responsibilities?
  • Responsible for achieving sales revenue quota for Aerogen products within assigned territory.
  • Manage entire sales process which includes, but not limited to, gaining customer interest, providing quotations, collecting customer orders, managing shipment of product, customer implementation and training of clinical staff and distributors.
  • Drive and support Aerogen distributors.
  • Launch new products in combination with Marketing in territory.
  • Establish strong physician and clinician relationships
  • Possess value-based and strategic selling skills.
  • Be innovative in creating new sales opportunities for Aerogen products.
  • Any other duties at the request of Manager.
  • Conduct peer to peer and promotional events in region.
What education and experience are required?
  • Minimum of a BA/BS Degree or Equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a similar commercial role within the medical device industry.
