Job summary

On Location is seeking an Account Manager for LOVB in a remote capacity to manage and execute complex individual and group travel for league events. You will deliver exceptional service to coaches, athletes, and staff while coordinating itineraries, changes, and special requests.

Ideal candidates bring strong travel industry knowledge, Sabre or similar GDS experience, and a proven ability to manage multiple bookings and deadlines with professionalism and clear communication.

Qualifications

  • Proven record of successful relationship building and maintenence.
  • Knowledge of Sabre or similar GDS.
  • Knowledge and experience of the airline industry.
  • Individual and group booking experience and knowledge.
  • Understanding of visa and country legal document requirements.
  • Knowledge of general office PC-based programs, including Microsoft Office 365.
  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to produce accurate work under the stress of and meet ticketing deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Arrange all aspects of individual travel including GDS domestic air, hotel, and car bookings.
  • Arrange all aspects of athletic team travel including group contract air, group hotel block, and charter bus bookings.
  • Calculate and perform exchanges including group and individual travel.
  • Manage group hotel and bus contracts and invoicing to meet monthly deadlines.
  • Provide excellent customer service to both external and internal customers via phone and email correspondence.
  • Manage client relationships (both internal and external) as it relates to work assigned.
  • Provide emergency and after-hours service to travelers, especially during peak client event months
  • Coordinate communication of traveler itineraries and changes with client.
  • Know and properly use: airline terminology, codes, fare basis, airline rules and tariffs, resource guides, books, and industry contacts.
  • Accurately and timely data management.
  • Remain informed of all airline rules and regulations and current affairs.
  • Maintain a professional working relationship with the clients while representing the Company.

The Role

The Account Manager, League One Volleyball (LOVB), is a virtual position that will serve and oversee the complex management and execution of individual, group and administrative travel for LOVB. This position will provide the highest personal service to the coaches, athletes and staff members of LOVB. The ideal candidate is a creative and analytical thinker with strong travel expereince and demonstrates exceptional organizational abilities, superb interpersonal skills, multitasking skills and excellent time-management.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Hiring Rate Minimum

$45,000 annually(minimum will not fall below the applicable State/local minimum salary thresholds)

Hiring Rate Maximum

$60,000 annually
